Ciphercup Technologies Pvt Ltd (“Ciphercup”, “we”, “us” or “our”) wants everyone to be able to use ciphercup.com, including people with visual, hearing, motor, cognitive or other disabilities, and people using assistive technologies such as screen readers, magnifiers, voice control or keyboard-only navigation. This statement explains the standard we aim for, the steps we have taken, the limitations we know about and how to tell us about a problem.

1. Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more perceivable, operable, understandable and robust for a wide range of people. Accessibility also supports the principles of India’s Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, and we apply the same standard to the websites we build for clients wherever their budget and scope allow.
We describe our website as partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 AA, which means that some parts may not yet fully meet the standard. We are working to improve this continuously.
2. Measures we have taken
- Semantic structure: pages use a logical heading order, landmarks (header, navigation, main content and footer), lists and properly marked-up tables, so that screen reader users can navigate easily.
- Keyboard access: menus, links, buttons, forms and the cookie banner can be reached and used with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Skip link: a “skip to content” link lets keyboard and screen reader users bypass the main navigation.
- Colour and contrast: we aim for a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and interface elements, and we do not rely on colour alone to convey meaning.
- Text alternatives: meaningful images have descriptive alternative text, and decorative images are hidden from assistive technologies.
- Resizable, responsive layout: text can be zoomed to 200% and the layout adapts to small screens and to reflow at 320 CSS pixels wide without horizontal scrolling.
- Accessible forms: contact, quote and career forms have visible labels, clear instructions and error messages that explain how to fix a problem.
- Target size: buttons and links are sized and spaced to be easy to tap, in line with WCAG 2.2’s target size guidance.
- Motion: we avoid flashing content and respect the “reduce motion” setting in your operating system where animations are used.
- Clear language: we write in plain English, explain technical terms and keep our policy pages structured with a table of contents.
- Testing: we check pages with automated accessibility tools, keyboard-only testing and screen reader spot checks when we publish significant changes.
3. Compatibility with browsers and assistive technology
Our website is designed to work with the current versions of major browsers, including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari and Microsoft Edge, on desktop and mobile. It is designed to be compatible with commonly used assistive technologies, such as NVDA and JAWS on Windows, VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, and TalkBack on Android. Older browsers and assistive technologies may not display or announce all content correctly.
4. Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations include:
- Third-party content: stock photographs loaded from Unsplash may have alternative text that is less descriptive than we would like on older pages. We are reviewing these.
- Portfolio screenshots: images of client websites in our portfolio show designs as delivered. We describe each project in text, but the screenshots themselves may contain text that is not available to screen readers.
- Older blog posts: some older articles on our blog may have heading structures or link text that do not fully meet current guidelines.
- Plugins and external services: parts of the checkout, cookie consent banner and payment gateway pages are provided by third parties (WooCommerce extensions, CookieYes and payment gateways). We choose and configure them with accessibility in mind, but we do not fully control their markup. External services opened from our site, such as WhatsApp, are governed by their own accessibility policies.
- PDF documents: some downloadable PDFs, such as older proposals or brochures, may not be fully tagged. Accessible versions are available on request.
If you need any information from our website in a different format, we will provide it, for example as plain text by email or by explaining it over a phone call.
